Kaepernick leads 49ers to 32-7 rout of the Bears
In last night’s action on Monday night football, the San Francisco 49ers rushed to a 20-0 halftime lead (scoring on their first four possessions) and then cruised to a 32-7 win over the Bears. Colin Kaepernick was 16-23 for 243 yards and two scores in his NFL debut as a starter while linebacker Aldon Smith registered five sacks. The game was over at the kickoff as the 49ers did whatever they wanted against a pretty good Chicago defense while the 49er pass rush relentlessly pounded Jay Cutler backup Jason Campbell. The Bears had just 28 yards rushing and -13 (yes negative) yards passing in the first half. At the betting window, San Francisco and the over got their for the game and both halves.
