Pistorius gets bail

Pistorius was charged with the Valentine’s Day premeditated murder of his girlfriend who was shot four time while cowering behind a bathroom door. Pistorius claims he thought that it was a burgler. Bail was set at 1 million rand ($113,000), with $11,300 in cash up front and proof that the rest is available. Pistorius must also hand over his passports, turn in any other guns that he owns, cannot leave the district of Pretoria, South Africa’s capital, without the permission of his probation officer and cannot take drugs or drink alcohol.
