It was a tough Saturday for ranked teams in college basketball

You probably didn’t want to be a ranked team in men’s college basketball on Saturday as several ranked teams went down including the No.1 Louisville Cardinals who lost at home to No.6 Syracuse. In arguably the best game of the day, No.13 Butler stunned No.8 Gonzaga on a Roosevelt Jones floater at the buzzer.

….. other ranked teams to go down in rotation order were …..

The No.17 Missouri Tigers got crushed 83-52 at No.10 Florida. The Tigers were without their best player Lawrence Bowers who was out with a knee injury.

No.24 UCLA was stopped at home by the No.21 Oregon Ducks 76-67 in a Pac 12 showdown.

No.12 Creighton suffered it’s first MVC Conference loss of the year falling to 17-2 but un-ranked Wichita State.

No.11 Ohio State fell at No.18 Michigan State 59-56.

No.25 Marquette came from 16 down at the half but lost to Cincinnati by a deuce in overtime.

No.15 San Diego State managed just 9 (nine) first half points in losing at Wyoming.

Kansas and Notre Dame barely survived their game versus Texas and Rutgers.

At UCF on Fox 7 Saturday night, Vitor Belfort scored the 15th knockout of his MMA career with a second round TKO of Michael Bisping.
