Marc Belinelli had 13 to lead the Bulls Joakim Noah and Taj Gibson were both tossed in the fourth quarter. The series returns to Chicago tied at 1-1.

Monday, the Golden State Warriors blew a 16-point lead in the final three minutes and lost in double overtime. The Warriors did their best to blow a 19-point halftime lead on Wednesday but finally sealed the deal on a 100-91 victory to even their series with the Spurs at 1-1. Klay Thompson had 29 first half point including seven three pointers and finished the game with 34 points and 14 rebounds. It was Golden State’s first win at San Antonio since 1997 snapping a 30-game road losing streak in Alamo City.

There are no games scheduled tonight in the NBA.

Wednesday night NHL playoff recap

There were four games Wednesday on frozen pond and all four were decided by one goal, three in overtime. At MSG, the Rangers used a goal and two assists from Carl Hagelin to beat Washington 4-3 and level that series at two games a piece. Boston fell behind 2-0 at Toronto, came back with three unanswered goals, but still needed the winner in overtime from David Krejci to take a 3-1 series lead over the Leafs. The defending Stanley Cup champion LA Kings got two goals from Jeff Carter in a 3-2 OT win at St Louis and will go back to the Staples Center with a 3-2 series led. In the nightcap, Anaheim got an overtime goal from Nick Bonino to beat Detroit 3-2. The Ducks lead the series 3-2 and can close things out on Friday in Detroit.

Three game Fives are on tap for Thursday starting at 7:05 PM EST with Montreal a -140 home favorite over Ottawa. The Senators lead the series 3-1. Also at 7:05, Pittsburg is -225 at the Igloo over the Islanders. The series is knotted at two-two. At 9:35 PM EST, the -235 Chicago Blackhawks look to eliminate the Minnesota Wild. The top-seeded Hawks lead the series 3-1.

Toronto Blue Jay pitcher J.A. Happ was released from a Tampa Bay hospital today less than 24 hours after getting struck in the head with a line drive. Happ suffered a minor skull fracture and needed stitches in his ear but did not suffer a concussion. He’s been placed on the 15-day disabled list.

The Cleveland Indians defeated the Oakland A’s 4-3 Wednesday on a controversial missed call. Adam Rosales hit an apparent game tying home run with two outs in the ninth only to have the umpires rule it an off the wall double. Replays clearly showed the ball hitting above the yellow line but the umpiring crew would not reverse their original call. Check out the video for yourself here.
