Brady has reportedly signed a three-year extension with a restructuring of his current deal that will give the Patriots around $15 million in cap relief each year for the next couple of years. Brady’s three-year extension is for a below market $27 million and will lock Brady up until 2017 when he will be 40. Sure it’s nice to have a Brazilian super model wife that makes 2-3 times what you do but Brady did leave approximately $50 million on the table. SB3 doubts that you’ll ever see Peyton or Drew making the same concession. Gronk has more surgery on forearm Patriot TE Rob Gronkowski has had a third surgery on the forearm that he broke twice during the year. The procedure was done to relieve an infection that developed after the second surgery. Gronk originally broke the arm in a Nov 18th game against the Colts and then later re-broke the same arm after returning against the Texans. Barring any further setbacks, Gronkowski should still be ready for the start of training camp. 4.82 in 40-yard dash sends Te’o draft stock plummeting Manti Te’o’s draft stock has hit a new all time low and not because of his internet problems but because of slow 40-yard dash and cone shuttle times. At barely 6’0″ and 242, many question whether Te’o is big enough to play inside. Now there will be the question of whether he can get out in coverage and cover bigger faster tight ends and run down backs circling out of the backfield.. Kings down Ducks, Blackhawks extend to 19 The Los Angeles Kings used a three-goal third period to beat cross-town rival Anaheim 5-2 and stop the Duck’s six game win streak. Five different Kings scored and Anze Kopitar chipped in with three assists. The Chicago Blackhawks have now played 19 straight games without losing in regulation after beating Edmonton 3-2 in overtime.
