Around the first of the year we wrote that this year’s Boston College Eagles may be the worst team to ever compete in the ACC. We must have got their ear and they’ve covered all four conference games and won their last two homies over Clemson and Virginia Tech. NC State is 13-5 with the loses early on to Stanford, Indiana, and Syracuse but last home game was inexplicable 9-point home loss to Georgia Tech. The Sun Devils are a train wreck and we’ll fade them at every reasonable opportunity. HC Herb Sendek is not long for his job as ASU goes to war tonight without their leading scorer Keala King (dismissed) and without PG Lockett out with an ankle. State just 4-13 in lined games this year including 2-8 vs teams with winning records. The Buffs are one of the surprise teams in the country and have been nails at home where they are 9-1. Colorado handled the Washington schools and Utah in their conference homies and are home tonight vs a soft touch after getting hammered in their Cal and Stanford swing last week. It could get ugly for ASU.

Illinois -4 over Penn State
Ordinarily, might be a bit concerened playing the Illini off their upset of Ohio State but they’ve had nine days to get their heads on straight. Illinois figures to take the Nits very seriously as they are just 4-5 in the L9 of the series and not playing well prior to the Buckeyes. Penn State is just 1-5 in conference and four of those losses are by 12+ points.
