San Antonio at Miami NBA Game I of NBA Championship
The NBA finals starts tonight with Spurs/Heat Game I at American Airlines Arena in Miami. The Heat opened up as -6 point favorites but early money on the Spurs has dropped the number a fill point to five. The total opened at 188 and is up half a tick. The series price had been pretty steady with the Heat at -230/-220 with the Spurs +200 on the take-back. The heat won both regular season meetings this year in two meaningless games where neither team played it’s starters. Miami is 4-5 as a home favorite this year while the Spurs are 3-0 as a road dog this year. This figures to be an interesting matchup.

Bruins up 3-0 after double-OT thriller
Patrice Bergeron’s redirect goal at 15:19 of the second overtime gave the Boston a 2-1 win over the Pittsburg Penguins and put the Bruins within one game of advancing the Stanley Cup Finals for the second time in three years. David Krejci got the winners off to fast start scoring on Boston’s first shot at the 1:42 mark. Chris Kunitz got the equalizer in the second and then it was a goaltending clinic by the Pen’s Tomas Vokoun and the Bruin’s Tuuka Rask who stopped 53 shots.
In tonight’s Western Conference Championship series, the Kings are -125 favorite over the Blackhawks in Game Four. The home team has won the first three games of the series and Los Angeles is a perfect 8-0 at the Staples Center this year.
WSox/Seattle total MLB Bad Beat for the ages
Don’t ever forget that this hobby of ours is gambling and ….. if you bet the total of yesterday’s Chicago White Sox/Seattle Mariner total under, you’ll have a bad beat story to tell at the bar for the rest of your lifetime. With the total set at seven-flat with the low shaded 20 cents, you probably thought about what you’d be doing with the extra money when you checked scores and saw Sox/Mariners 0-0 in the sixth. You probably didn’t bat an eye as the teams headed to extra innings at 0-0. 12 innings ??? No problem ….. still zero-zero. The Sox finally broke through with a five spot in the top of the 14th. No problem right ??? Wrong !!! The Mariners came back with their own five spot in the bottom of the 14th to force two more innings. Chicago finally won 7-5 in 16 inning but by then, several thousand “Under” tickets had been reduced to thousands of pieces or posted on Walls of Shame. This one was one tough beat bit like they say in Poland, shitzky happens.
