BoSox/Cardinals World Series Game V Preview
The 2013 World Series got even weirder last night as the Red Sox evened the series at 2-2 with the final out recorded on a pickoff. Game three was decided by an obstruction call at third base.
Tonight’s Game V is a rematch of Game I with Jon Lester taking on Adam Wainwirght. Lester and the Red Sox won Game I 8-1 after the Cards showed unusual first game jitters in committing three errors and getting down 5-0 after two innings. The Cards are 13-2 in their L15 home games and a capping “standard” is to take the loser in a five day pitching rematch.
