U.S. men’s soccer wins in Mexico for the first time ever
The U.S. men’s soccer team used Michael Orozco Fiscal’s goal in the 80th minute and Tim Howard’s late sprawling saves to beat Mexico 1-0, the American’s first ever win in Mexico. The U.S. was 0-23-1 over 75 years of frustration vs our neighbors from the South. It was just the Mexican’s 9th loss in 120 games and the first defeat since 2007 (Paraguay) at Stadio Azteca.

Dufner favored at Wyndham Championship
The Wyndham Championship marks the end of the Fed Ex regular season so all those close to or outside the top 125 will be scrambling for enough points to qualify for the rich playoff. The top 125 qualify for The Barclays at Bethpage Black. The top 100 in the standings after that move on to the Deutsche Bank Championship, the top 70 to the BMW Championship at Crooked Stick and the top 30 go to the Tour Championship. Rod Pampling is on the bubble at No. 125, 26 points ahead of Brendan Steele. The suddenly red-hot John Daly is sitting at No.137, just 58 points out of the playoff. Jason Dufner is the luke-warm favorite over second choice and defending champion Webb Simpson.
