On Tuesday, the Utah Jazz took care of their business with a 100-88 win over Phoenix at Energy Solutions Arena to claim the eighth and final playoff spot in the West. Just read the recap of last night’s Miami 77-68 loss at Boston. Lebron, Bosh, DWade, Kevin Garnett, and Rondo all sat. Paul Pierce played just 18 minutes and had eight points. If you are going to bet the next two nights ….. DUE YOUR DUE DILIGENCE!

New Jersey got a goal from Travis Zajec at 5:39 of overtime to force a Game Seven in that series. The Devils trapping defense was at its best allowing Florida just 14 shots in the 3-2 win. The Rays hit four home runs and David Price tossed the second shutout of his career as Tampa Bay blanked the Angels 5-0. Chelsea eliminates Barcelona

In a stunning upset in the Champions League semifinals, Chelsea sent Barcelona packing with a 2-2 draw at Camp Nou. The Blues moved on by 3-2 aggregate after winning their home leg 1-0 at Stamford Bridge last week. Chelsea earned their draw down 2-0 and eventually down a man after John Terry was red-carded for a knee. The all important away goal cam from Ramirez on a chip two minutes into extra time before the half. Messi hit the woodwork twice, once on a penalty kick that would have sealed the deal for the Spaniards. Chelsea moved on despite just 25% possession and having completed 1192 less passes than Barca. Chelsea faces the Bayern/Real Madrid winner (played today, Bayern 2-1) in the Champions League final May 19th.
