Bayern Munich has virtually guaranteed themselves a trip to their third Champions League final in four years with a 4-0 beat down of Barcelona. Thomas Meuller scored the first of his two goals on a header in the 23rd minute to open the scoring and the rout was on. Mario Gomez and Arjen Robben also scored for the German champs. The world’s best player Lionel Messi was a non-factor and Barca was dominated in every facet of the game. Even with the away leg at the Neu Camp, it would take a miracle for Barca to generate enough offense to move on.
