Nets edge shorthanded Bulls, Warriors win first series since 2007

The Nets will go back to Brooklyn tied 3-3 in their series with Chicago after Thursday’s 95-92 win over the Bulls at the United Center. Chicago, already decimated with injuries, also battled a team wide flu. The Warriors used a big third-quarter to eliminate the Denver nuggets four games to two. Golden State led by 18 with nine minutes late and needed to withstand a furious Denver rally as the Warriors went five minutes without scoring. Nugget coach George Karl has no been in 14 playoffs and has gotten out of the first round just twice.

Adrian Peterson sets season bar at 2500 yards
