The AFC outscored the NFC 59-41 in the Pro Bowl as Brandon Marshall took down MVP honors with six catches for 176 yards and a record four touchdowns. The game was tied at 28 at the half before the AFC broke things open in the fourth with 21 unanwered points. Larry Fitzgerald had six catches for 111 yards and three TDs for the NFC. Not to be outdone, the Charas beat the Alfressons 12-9 in the d-free NHL All-Star game behind a hat trick by MVP Marion Gaborik. Fans were treated to a wide-open, no-hitting style in a game that featured plenty of nifty passing plays, numerous odd-man breaks and even a penalty shot. A 6-3 third period made the over ( the total was 19 over -130) a an easy winner by the 14:20 compliments of a goal by Daniel Sedin.

Last year’s MVP missed both shots, his first two misses from the charity stripe in the fourth quarter this year. He had been 28-28. Lebron James got the rebound and was fouled. He missed both shots. A final Rose runner in the the lane missed and Heat foul shots sealed it.

Notre Dame beat #24 UConn by a point in a Big East rematch. Kentucky is still #1 in the AP poll.
(CBB) Pittsburg at West Virginia Under 137.5
Pittsburg has won two straight after an eight game skid but not ready to give or take points with the Panthers or the equally unpredictable West Virginia Mountaineers. While Pitt was upsetting Georgetown Saturday, Huggies crew was burned by a non-call with 15 seconds left just as they were poised to upset #1 Syracuse. They might be in a fould mood at home. Dixon’s crew plays good defense on the road and they’ll have to stay close here. Pitt is 4-1 low on the road, 17-7 under with suitcase the last three years. This is a key game for both teams that will be hotly contested throughout. This one ends closer to 120 than 140, play the under.
(CBB) Eastern Illinois -1.5 over SE Missouri State
Both teams are recent victims of unbeaten OVC heavyweight Murray State. The teams met 16 days ago, a SE Mo 80-73 home win. In that game, the Red Hawks shot lights out including 11-20 from downtown. They’re not likely to repeat that performance here as they’ve struggled on the road losing their last two and avgg just 61 ppg. Eastern Illinois was supposed to be Murray’s last threat to the undefeated season but have lost five straight including their last three at home. This is Eastern’s last chance to salvage their season and OVC home faves of less than six are 12-5-1. Lay it.
(NBA) Milwaukee -7.5 over Detroit
This is the Pistons 4th game in six nights, the Bucks 6th game in nine nights so the wagons will by draggin’ at the Bradley Center. Normally would be learly about laying this type of points with the Bucks but Milwaukee has circled the wagons somewhat since Bogut went down and they’re generally solid (5-2, 2-1 as fave) at home. Detroit is just brutal at 1-8-1 as a road dog. Milwaukee is 2-0 as a home favorite of 6-9 and have covered five of their last six overall. The Bucks are worth a look here.
(NBA) San Antonio +6 over Memphis
This is the Spurs 4th game in six nights, the Grizzlies 3rd game in five nights. The Spurs are just 2-8 on the road and the Grizz have lost three straight avgg just 86 ppg so something has to give. San Antone is 3-1 as a road dog of 3-6 points and tonight we will have benefit of the full six. The Spurs are also 6-3 vs the points vs winning records and beat the Grizz by 14 in Alalmo City in the only prior meeting this year. Memphis has been unable to follow up last year’s break out season, mainly because of the injury to Zach Randolph. Grizz just 2-6 vs the points against winning points and figure to be life and death to win straight up nevermind cover six. This dog is live and barking.
