Sportsbetting 3’s Daytona 500 Preview and Predictions will be locked and loaded by 9:00 PM EST tonight
(CBB) Oklahoma State -3.5 over Texas A&M
This is pretty much a must game for both teams who look to claw back to .500 and put themselves in a position for some type of post season play. The Aggies are 8-2 ATS in their L10 but have won just one of their last seven and that was against lowly Texas Tech. The Cowboys suffered a crushing loss in their last getting spanked at Oklahoma on a poor shooting night wher they couldn’t hit water from the end of a dock. Okie State is 6-0 ATS avenging conference road losses and this is also a great opportunity to get a 1-4 A&M monkey off their back. Oklahoma State 66-57.
(CBB) Creighton -3 over Indiana State
The 24-5 Bluejays have bounced back from a three-game losing streak with three straight wins but are just 1-5 ATS in L6 and facing a Sycamore outfit that is 7-2 SU and ATS in L9 on the road. These teams met on Jan 21st at Creighton, the Jays coming away with a 75-49 blow out win In that game, Indiana State shot just 16-49 from the field including just 4-16 from downtown. Creighton led 42-25 at the half and did what they do knocking down 11 trifectas and cashing 16-19 free throws. Creighton is one game back of Wichita State in the MVC and need a win here to keep pace and get some swagger back in their MVC finale. Creighton 70-59.
(CBB) Drexel +2.5 over Old Dominion
This is a key Colonial Conference matchup between two teams playing some pretty ball. Drexel has won 14 straight and has been a favorite on this page, Old Dominion has won three straight and eight out of ten. The Monarchs are 6-2 as in CAA home games and have covered six of eight as a conference bully. That said, Colonial home favorites of less than four points are just 3-9 ATS and today Dom faces juggernaut. The Dragons seem to be getting better every game. They’re 8-4 vs the points on the road, 12-5 ATS in conference, have covered five straight vs winning records and off a 20-point blowout win over Cleveland State in last weekend’s bracketbuster. The wrong team is favored here. Take Drexel.
(CBB) Northwestern -1.5 over Penn State
Northwestern is one of four teams that has never gone to the Big Dance. They’ve knocked on the door the last couple of years but when on the bubble they’ve lost games like this. The Wildcats are a veteran bunch that played a decent non-conference schedule. The window could close for several more years if the Cats don’t get an at large bid this year and again, Northwestern is on the outside looking in. Northwestern off a brutal overtime loss to Michigan in their last but NW has been resilient going 6-2 ATS after their Big Ten losses. The Nits have covered three straight winning two (Iowa, Nebraska) but had lost eight of their previous nine. Penn State is 4-1 SU and ATS the last five in the series bit that one was 12 -point Northwestern win January 1st. Northwestern stays on March Mania ventilator with a win here.
