Kansas spanked Baylor for the second time in two meetings behind Jeff Withey’s 25 points. In a game you’ll be seeing on Sports Center for the next 30 years, Duke came from 10 points down in the final 2:15 to win on an Austin River’s 3-point shot at the buzzer. The Blue Devils connected on 13-37 trifectas, North Carolina just 1-6. Virginia and Michigan rolled in action between other ranked teams.

North Carolina State and Georgia Tech Under 134.5
These teams met on January 11th with the Wolfpack coming away with am 81-72 victory but looking at the games both teams have played since, not sure where we will find 134 points. Both teams are 6-2 under in their last eight with the hosts scoring 49-54-52 points in three of their L4 games, the visitors scoring 55-60-56 in three of their last four. Georgia Tech is just 2-10 SU in their L10 and the Jackets best chance to win is to take the air out of the ball and play a deliberate half court game in the 50s. Play the under.
Ole Miss +8 over Mississippi State
The Egg Bowl on the hardwood. This is the rematch of a January 18th Ole Miss (+2) 75-68 upset win in Oxford snapping a four-game Bulldog series win streak. The Dog is 7-1 in State’s eight conference games, the Bulldogs 0-5 as a favorite, 0-3 as a home favorite. Further, Mississippi State is a 1-7 in their L8 as a home fave of 6-9. The Rebels are 4-1 as a SEC dog and their last three roadies by 2-3-1 points. Add to the mix the Rebels 20-10 ATS road mark over the last three years and a 7-3 mark vs the points off a loss and there is a pretty strong case for the visitors.
Wisconsin -1 over Minnesota
The Badgers will be in a foul mood after losing their Sunday showdown with Ohio State. The home team has four of the last five in the series but the Golden Gophers are just 5-6 in their L11 and not the same after losing their top scorer and rebounder just before Big Ten conference play. In the end, the Badgers play that great Bo Ryan defense and won their last three road games by 6-4-6 (Purdue, Ill, Penn State) allowing just 57 ppg. More often than not, Wisconis finds ways to win these guys while at the same time the Gopehers find ways to lose. Take Wisconsin.
Lakers +3.5 over Boston
The Lakers are on their extended East Coast swing while the Staple Center is occupied but they’ve had the last two nights off and should be fresh as a daisy here. The Celtics on the other hand play their third game if five nights. LA’s road troubles are well documented as the Lake Show is just just 3-9 SU and ATS the Celtics are just 7-9 as favorite and 7-9 at home. In the end, Boston just doesn’t have the fron court to deal with Bynum and Gasol and this is the type of game that Kobe lives for. Lakers straight up …. easily.
