Heat -6 in Game II tonight in South Beach
The Miami Heat look to even their NBA Finals series with the San Antonio Spurs in Game II tonight in Miami. The heat are six point favorites with the total set at 188. The Spurs lead the series by virtue of their 92-88 win in Game I. Since January 10th of this year, the heat are 10-0 straight up and ATS following a loss with the average margin of victory 19.9 points.
Palace Malice takes Belmont with perfect trip
Palace Malace stalked the early leaders through a fast paced six furlongs then blew by Preakness winner Oxbow in the stretch to win the 145th running of the Belmont Stakes. Oxbow finished second with Kentucky Derby winner Orb finishing third. Sent off at odds of 13-1, Palace Malice returned $29.60, $11.20 and $6.70. Oxbow returned $9.90 and $6.10 for place and Orb paid $3.30 to show.
Blackhawks eliminate Kings in 2OTs
Patrick Kane had a hat trick including the game winner in the second overtime as the Chicago Blackhawks won the Western Conference with a 4-3 win over the Kings. Chicago advances to the Stanley Cup finals where they they will host the Boston Bruins Wednesday for Game I at the United Center. The Hawks have been installed as -145 favorites with the total five flat and shaded a whopping 50 cents to the under.
Mets win in 20 innings, Jays in 18
When Ernie Banks said, “Lets play two” ….. we’re sure he didn’t mean to play two the way the Marlins and Mets did Saturday at Citifield. In a game that lasted 6 hours and 25 minutes and saw 526 pitches thrown, the Marlins beat the Mets 2-1 in 20 innings. Adeiny Hechavarria singed in Placido Polanco with the winning run. The Mets went 0-19 with runners in scoring position. The game proved even more costly for the Mets who saw ace Matt Harvey leave the game in the eighth inning with lower back tightness.
Rain cancels qualifying, Johnson starts from Pocono pole
Rain canceled qualifying for today’s Pocono 400 so the grid will leave based on Sprint Cup points. Jimmie Johnson has the pole with Carl Edwards, Clint Bowyer, Matt Kenseth, Kevin Harvick and Dale Earnhardt Jr completing the first three rows.

Adonis Steveson drops Chad Dawson in one for the belt
Adonis Stevenson dropped Chad Dawson with a left hook right on the button to capture the WBC lightheavyweight title in Montreal. Dawson staggered to his feet but was saved by the referee at 2:20 of the first round.
Werdum and Silva score big MMA wins at Fuel 10
Fabricio Werdum and Thiago Silva were the big winners in last night’s UFC on Fuel 10 card from Brazil. Werdum avenged a 2006 loss to boyhood here Big Nog with a submission win in a battle of heavyweights. Thiago Silva re-established himself as a threat in the 205 mix with a first round knockout win Rafael Cavalcante in a slugfest that resembled Hearns/Hagler.
