Boston Celtics (+175)

The Boston Celtics’ odds of winning the Eastern Conference are increasing daily. Jayson Tatum, the Eastern Conference Player of the Month, and Joe Mazzulla, the Eastern Conference Coach of the Month, are two of the main reasons that the Celtics are the best team in the NBA thus far. In addition, Jaylen Brown is garnering MVP consideration with his tremendous play. The 3-point sharpshooters gracing the court for Boston make this team one of the best teams all-time in terms of offensive efficiency. Robert Williams III is also on his way back, so this Celtics team has high expectations after the Finals loss last year.

Miami Heat (+1400)

The Miami Heat looked strong against those Celtics, as Miami went into Boston and split the two-game series. Jimmy Butler missed Wednesday’s game at TD Garden but returned for Friday’s contest and was the most important player in the Heat’s victory at Boston. Miami may have a rollercoaster regular season, but mark this team as the dark horse, especially because Pat Riley could have some tricks up his sleeves at the trade deadline.

Golden State Warriors (+300)

The top of the West is none other than the defending champion Golden State Warriors. They had early-season road struggles, but the season is a long one, and their veteran experience should put them in a position to succeed in the 2023 postseason. Stephen Curry appears to have not lost a step. He is averaging more than 30 points per game. Andrew Wiggins has assumed the No. 2 scorer role, with Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole averaging more than 15 points per contest.

Memphis Grizzlies (+800)

Ja Morant, Desmond Bane, Jaren Jackson Jr., and Dillon Brooks are making this Grizzlies team a true contender. If they get healthy and hit 2023 in stride, this team could be one of the top two in the Western Conference. Rebounding is taken care of by Steven Adams and, impressively, Morant. Even Tyus Jones has come off the bench for most games and scored double-digit points per game. If Memphis can put it all together, they can bring last year’s playoff experience into what hopes to be a lengthy playoff run this season.
