Kansas City Chiefs
Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs have seemingly been unstoppable, as they have been in the AFC Championship Game each of the last six seasons. Will they make it again this season? The Chiefs signed wide receiver Marquise Brown and drafted wide receiver Xavier Worthy. Travis Kelce’s health will be important, but it will also come down to the defensive success. Kansas City’s defense was the second-best unit in the league in 2023, as All-Pro defensive tackle Chris Jones led the team on the defensive side of the football. Can the Chiefs make it three championships in a row?
Baltimore Ravens
It is time for Lamar Jackson’s Ravens to step up in the AFC. He is the offensive leader of John Harbaugh’s Ravens, who lost in last season’s AFC Championship Game, 17-10. After scoring on a 30-yard Zay Flowers touchdown reception in the first quarter, Baltimore failed to score another touchdown for the remainder of the game. It was the clutch Chiefs who came up big in another monumental game and cemented Kansas City as a dynasty. Can the Ravens take the reins and take over the AFC?
