Boston Celtics (+200)

The Boston Celtics’ odds of winning the Eastern Conference are staying relatively steady, but they seem to have more competition now. They will have to fight off the Bucks and Nets, but the Celtics still have MVP favorite Jayson Tatum as well as burgeoning star Jaylen Brown. The team’s shooting has come back to earth, but the return of Robert Williams III allows Boston to continue to be a juggernaut in the Eastern Conference. Both Milwaukee and Brooklyn are coming strongly. Boston has the best odds, but we will see how they play in comparison to the Bucks and Nets.

Milwaukee Bucks (+240)

Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jrue Holiday have missed a few games here and there this season, but it has been a difficult road back for Khris Middleton. Yet, it has still been a strong start to the season for Milwaukee. The Bucks will be trying to get back to the Finals after the Greek Freak delivered on Milwaukee’s first NBA title since 1971. With Antetokounmpo, the Bucks have a bright future, and with a championship in their pocket as well as playoff experience, this team is primed for a good run.

Brooklyn Nets (+400)

A double-digit game winning streak is very impressive, and this Nets team finally seems like it is coming together. Brooklyn’s new big three are playing tremendous basketball since beginning the season 9-11. It appears that the change in the head coaching position has done the trick. Jacque Vaughn has the Nets nearing the top of the NBA in terms of record. Last year, Brooklyn won just 44 games. They could increase their win total by more than 10 games this season. If the Nets are firing on all cylinders when the playoffs come around, this team could be very dangerous. They were swept by the Celtics in the first round last year, but it seems like they will win some playoff games this year.
