The NFL Conference Championship features the cream of the crop that the NFL has to offer. The top four teams are facing off and the best teams have made it this far.
There is little doubt that these four teams are the most talented and might be the four best quarterbacks in the NFL. The games ended with Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Josh Allen, and…. Chad Henne(?) celebrating their victories.
The biggest news of the week was Patrick Mahomes’ injury and quick rule out. The news to monitor will be whether he plays or not. Some sportsbooks have had the Chiefs as high as -3 to open the week whereas others believe he will not play and opened at Bills -4.5.
Is there money to be made on these lines? Of course!
– Props and bets will be abundant this week as we get closer to game time –
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Green Bay Packers (-3.5) 3:05 PM EST. FOX
Pick: First Drive: Tampa Bay Buccaneers by 7 to 12 points +525: The Bucs are going to have a tough set up to win this game in Lambeau. However, the Bucs dominated the Packers earlier this year and it was emphatic. The Packers essentially quit during the 3rd and 4th quarter of the game and pulled their starters.
The value here is phenomenal as you can get the Buccaneers to win by a touchdown and a touchdown and a field goal. We bet value before everything, +525 is excellent.
Buffalo Bills vs. Kansas City Chiefs (-3) 6:40 PM EST. CBS
Pick: Total Touchdowns: Over 6.5 Touchdowns +100: Both of these teams are extremely strong in the red zone, but that is not why I am taking this bet. The Chiefs are ranked 31st in red zone defense. That means that the Chiefs give up the most touchdowns in the NFL in the red zone.
Furthermore, the Bills are scoring touchdowns at an 87% clip in their last 3 games. By far the most in the league. This is an excellent bet and coincides well with the over. Mahomes is going to play.
