(NFL) New Orleans/Seattle Over 47.5 (Monday, December 2, 2013 8:40 PM EST)
It’s tough to take a side in this one, a battle between two of the top three teams (a helathy San Farancisco 49ers) in the NFC. Russell Wilson has never lost a start in Seattle as quarterback of the Seahawks yet the Saints are catching nearly a touchdown with a revitalized Whodat defense allowing just 16.7 ppg over its last three games and Drew Brees throwing against a heavily depleted Seattle secondary. Both teams have had extra time to prepare and both figure to try and run the ball to set up the pass. Weather could be somewhat of a factor with a temperature at game time right about 34% with almost 70% chance of precipitation. After a slow start, the Seahawk offense has started to hit on all cylinders wracking up 101 points and 1228 yards of total offense in their last three games. They figure to have success moving the ball against a New Orleans team allowing 400+ total offense to opponents on the road. As previosly stated, Brees will throwing against a secondary missing two starters while the Saints have run the ball with some success effectively eliminating the Hawk defensive line from just pinning back their ears and coming. We see a game here very similar to the 41-36 Seattle playoff win in 2010. Lock and load for a good one and get a piece of the over.
